Their mission to be a world-class electric utility prompted Davao Light to upgrade and digitize their substations—improving customer service, reducing costs, and cutting substation construction times in half. Partnering with SEL provided the training and support to construct three complete substations using IEC 61850 Sampled Values-based process bus networks, with more on the way.
