After Superstorm Sandy flooded many of their substations, Central Hudson Gas & Electric began a storm hardening program, which involved increasing the height of all electrical equipment about 6 ft. above ground. Central Hudson partnered with SEL's Engineering Services for consultation and design services, and received a custom solution to address their unique foundation requirements.
